I am pleased to welcome you to the 2016/17 which is a very exciting season for us, marking the arrival of our new pitch at Langley Park School for Girls.
Firstly a quick introduction, my name is Jo Read and I have been treasurer of the club for the last 3 years and member of the ladies section for 8 years. I stepped into the Chair position in late spring. I would like to thank Chris Harris for his sterling efforts over the past 3 years, in particular his key role in delivering the pitch. I will continue our focus on delivering a strong community hockey club with a strong social focus and getting both first teams promoted to the national league.

Sponsorship and Volunteering
As I am sure most of you are aware, the hockey section is run on a not for profit basis and all club funds are reinvested in providing the best opportunities for all our members to play hockey. This year sees a completely different structure for the club, with our new (in partnership with Langley Park School for Girls) it is vital we have enough money to support achievement at all levels. I am delighted that Katie Fielder has agreed to take on the role of membership secretary. However we need much more support to ensure that we raise money through sponsorships and events.
We are still looking for a main sponsor for our club shirts, but also have a wide range of opportunities for smaller scale sponsors to suit all budgets. I have attached our updated sponsorship brochure; please do think about who you know, who you work with and who you buy from who may be in a position to benefit from this relationship. We are also always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to raise money from socials and other events.
Please contact email@example.com with any ideas.
As we now have Katie Fielder in the role of membership secretary we are keen to ensure our database is kept up to date. Please complete either the online membership form or the paper membership form.
